What is Process Essays (Examples)?

A process essay is fundamentally different from other types of academic writing assignments.  In fact, it is closer to technical writing than to other types of academic writing. That is because a process essay describes a process that leads to a specific outcome.  There are two approaches to the process essay.  The first approach is often referred to as a directional process essay and is the simpler of the two approaches; it describes the steps necessary to complete a task.  The second approach to the process essay does more than outline steps, it also analyzes or explains the steps involved in the process.  The wording of your assignment will be important when you are trying to determine which approach to take while writing your process essay.

The introduction of your process essay needs to accomplish several things.  First, it needs to introduce the process you are going to describe, and give background information about that process, when such information is necessary.  Next, it needs to identify your audience.  Identifying your audience does not require actually saying the targeted audience for your essay, but, if your reader needs a certain educational, technical, or professional background to understand the essay, then the introduction provides a great opportunity for you to provide that material.

The body of the essay involves your actual descriptions of the process.  For simple directional process essays, the body of the essay involves a step-by-step description of each part of the process.  For analytical process essays, in addition to outlining the steps you might explain them to the reader or analyze whether the steps are necessary to the process and make the process more efficient, or should be eliminated or changed in order to maximize efficiency and performance.

Finally, the conclusion of your essay will reiterate what you hope to achieve with the process described in the essay.  If you have analyzed the process and found it lacking, the conclusion may also describe suggestions for further study or review.

Critique of Frazier et al.'s mediation and moderation analysis methods
After reading the article and comparing it with related ones, I have to raise concerns with about how Frazier et al (2004) have used his method. This study shows that Frazier et al (2004) examined a sample comprising of 50 articles. A significant amount of the articles used exhibit problematic reporting and there is a room for improvement in carrying out this mediation analysis. Future studies and literature must consider demonstrating the extent at which improvements have been made to this situation.

How synaptic communication and NMDA receptors shape neural development
One might note that, in human, changes in behavior patterns that are lasting and ongoing are hard to come by because people generally revert back to the same patterns they are accustomed to. Animals are like this too. The main reason is that synapses and neurons have their own patterns and this regulates a lot of how a person acts and why given a certain situation.

Female beauty and the uncanny in Les Diaboliques by Barbey d'Aurevilly
The theme of justice is indeed ambiguous in the short stores Les Diaboliques by Jules Barbey D'Aurevilly. The stories are indeed graphically vivid, which take an unflinching perspective on life, love, sex, honor, lust, beauty and power—mostly from a masculine point of view. It is this masculine perspective which can shackle and disarm the female characters of these stories. But in each story, justice prevails on the fictional reality by allowing the females to consistently have an uncanny sense of beauty or cunning—a beauty that prevails by giving each female a bewitching or animalistic quality which endures and ends up haunting the male protagonists or disarming other female characters of the narratives. In this sense justice has fallen: while the female protagonists often don't have the same amount of freedom or power that the male characters do, they have a strong hold on the uncanny and the bewitching and their beauty continues to haunt and bewitch time after time, regardless of whether they're physically there or not

American workers need federally mandated vacation time
Many people in the United States are clueless about how their country stacks up to other countries in the world in regards to vacation time. Most people generally assume that vacation time in the United States is relatively comparable to that of the rest of the world. However, that could not be farther from the case. In fact the U.S. has been referred to as the "non-vacation" nation since it has no federally mandated vacation time other than public holidays (CNN World). In fact, in a 2009 Mercer poll the only country that was included in the survey that scored worse than the United States was China. Every other industrialized nation and nearly all the developing nations all have mandated vacation time that exceeds the American averages. Many of the top vacation nations in the world offer their citizens a mandated forty or more days off per year while the average among some of the U.S.'s top companies is twenty five and other positions receive far less.

Twitter's evolution of revenue models and the promoted trends advertising strategy
Common to many social networking sites, Twitter initially struggled to define what its business model would be over the long-term. Having to triangulate between privacy, security, personal preferences on the one hand and the need for continually providing an open architecture for developers while ensuring an excellent user experience challenged Twitter's senior management initially (Laudon, Traver, 2011). The initial efforts at creating an advertising platform failed as Twitter violated one of these three areas of their business model. Initial efforts at sponsored Tweets were at times done in a surreptitious and often shielded strategy, which made Twitter less trustworthy than Facebook. Facebook's lead of segmenting out users and attempting to sell advertising as well. This ultimately failed due to the lack of precision the Twitter platform had at the time. As Twitter experimented with these advertising models and approaches, they also began to impinge on the privacy of others as well, leading to continued protests from their user base. Exacerbating all of these factors was the continual churn Twitter was experiencing, with many of them leaving the service silently. These users left the service and allowed their accounts to stay on the site, dormant. It is estimated that nearly 30% of a given Twitter user's accounts are dormant. This also made the segmentation model that Twitter initially devised impractical.

Effect of drought on faba bean yield and cultivation
The Fababean or Vicia faba L. is now being cultivated as a commercial crop and is valuable to the cash crop segments. However the plant has issues with infestations and low yields in case of droughts and parasitic attacks. Many researches in both these aspects have shown that the yields can be increased by careful monitoring of the soil and water process and while excess water is a problem the deficit causes poor yield. The use of genomes and selective breeding shows a way to cultivate the plant successfully in the drought climate too.
