What is Process Essays (Examples)?

A process essay is fundamentally different from other types of academic writing assignments.  In fact, it is closer to technical writing than to other types of academic writing. That is because a process essay describes a process that leads to a specific outcome.  There are two approaches to the process essay.  The first approach is often referred to as a directional process essay and is the simpler of the two approaches; it describes the steps necessary to complete a task.  The second approach to the process essay does more than outline steps, it also analyzes or explains the steps involved in the process.  The wording of your assignment will be important when you are trying to determine which approach to take while writing your process essay.

The introduction of your process essay needs to accomplish several things.  First, it needs to introduce the process you are going to describe, and give background information about that process, when such information is necessary.  Next, it needs to identify your audience.  Identifying your audience does not require actually saying the targeted audience for your essay, but, if your reader needs a certain educational, technical, or professional background to understand the essay, then the introduction provides a great opportunity for you to provide that material.

The body of the essay involves your actual descriptions of the process.  For simple directional process essays, the body of the essay involves a step-by-step description of each part of the process.  For analytical process essays, in addition to outlining the steps you might explain them to the reader or analyze whether the steps are necessary to the process and make the process more efficient, or should be eliminated or changed in order to maximize efficiency and performance.

Finally, the conclusion of your essay will reiterate what you hope to achieve with the process described in the essay.  If you have analyzed the process and found it lacking, the conclusion may also describe suggestions for further study or review.

Catchball learning team activity evaluation and innovation process analysis
Catch ball is a concept called Hoshin Kanri. After the Second World War, Hoshin Kanri was a system to create policy management in Japanese companies. Hoshin Kanri 'Hoshin' is a Japanese word that means pointing the direction.' Kanri' means control. The process is complex in the sense that the management creates the policy or attempts to create a goal. In this case it was to create the ‘electronic housemaid'. This requirement often translates to many actions from all participants and thus the peers in the team throw a ‘catch-ball' to the staff or various participants who then respond to these questions or propositions and the analysis of the response evinces further questions and so on until all issues are sorted out. This method was used in the project which was a software project to create an Artificial intelligence of an advanced nature that would respond to human commands and make the machine a ‘house maid'. To this end there was the software, hardware and live ware components to be considered apart from the process of design. It was theoretically a very complex project in which four of us participated.

Enforcement of European Community Law Legal Systems
Legal systems are basically just useless if they are not efficiently enforced. On that note, they have normally two principal devices through which to make sure that these norms are enforced. Firstly, they may make the choice to trust on community enforcement by the state or an organ (Craig, 1998). On the other hand, trusting purely on public enforcement can be incompetent. Even though the details for this may differ contingent on the exact legal area, which is in query, it is common for public implementation as such to produce difficulties, which cause a legal association to supplement it by private model of enforcement, which permits private activities which are transported by persons European Union law (factually called "European Community law") is a body of agreements and lawmaking, for instance Regulations and Directives, which have indirect effect or direct effect on the regulations of European Union member federations.

Learning outcomes and reflections from the semester
Unless one is present or watches a recording of an event, when learning of it one must be happy with a version of events that has been filtered by another person. This has been the case with many history textbooks written about the United States over the years. The writers of textbooks have been servants to an idealized version of American history, and therefore, have cleansed their works of any and all embarrassing facts. If there is anything I have learned this semester it is that all history textbooks are written by those with agendas, sometimes political, sometimes economic, and sometimes honorable, but they all write their version of history as they want the reader to see it.

Ethical theory fundamentals and applications
An examination and comparison of various ethical theories is made with an emphasis on virtue ethics. The argument is made that the ancient theories of Aristotle and Plato are the proper approach to ethical decision making and that all the attempts to discredit such approach fail to obviate the basic strengths of how Aristotle approached ethics thousands of years ago.
