Any belief, whether it is a self made system or is bestowed upon us from above, can be taken as a religious view, for how does one define religion except as a system which sets upon humans a certain lifestyle to follow. The definition might seem vague at the least, but to define religion is becoming increasingly difficult , as more and more new sources of religious believes emerge. In all sense of the world, there is a message, however it may or may not be from an omnipotent, invisible God; it can be from a messiah or a man who has been raised to the level of a Messiah by his/her followers, as is the case of Buddha. The same has been the fate of many of the philosophers who have presented a framework for how to live one's life. One such philosophical work that will be discussed in this paper is the philosophy of I-Ching or Yi Jing. Although the text is rooted in antiquity, there have been an impact on it through the various interpretations had been presented.

A worker's attitude heavily impacts his behavior and his performance in any organization. A positive attitude results in an increase in overall productivity for him and the organization because of the feeling of optimism, pride and job satisfaction. A negative attitude will result in negative behaviors which will then lead to job switching or lack of productivity. There are many places where attitude can influence work behavior which the research will illustrate on the importance of attitude in the performance of an individual.

Family, as sociology recognizes is one of the most important institutions that contribute to the process of primary socialization of an individual. However, like all other institutions, family is one of the crucial grounds where feminists have a lot to argue about and they fight for the rights of women and the need to be given an appropriate space and respect in the household. As the distribution of work in the household goes, the traditional belief and concept is that the women are the ones who need to stay home and monitor all the necessary chores and the domestic work needed around the house. However, the feminists seem to be highly critical about this particular thought. They have begun to question why it is seen as the women's sole responsibility to look after the needs of the children and tend to every individual in the household. Since the feminists have largely raised arguments about the liberation and freedom that a woman should have regarding her career and her life, they have also put forward the idea of symmetrical roles in the family played by the husband and wife.

The following debate takes place between four individuals as follows: Dr. Barker, a public health sector physician with an experience of fifteen years; Ms. Gomez, a social activist working for improving opportunities and living conditions for immigrants to the United States; Mr. Walters, a journalist who writes on social and political issues in several newspapers and self-professed atheist; and Mr. Bucelli, a modern poet and novelist with strong humanist inclinations. All four are residents of the Green Springs Community and are recognized members of the community.

This paper will describe some technique for the increase of motivation in students. In this paper some techniques for the development of students' relatedness will also be discussed.

It is imperative to not only study those cause but also devise practical means of resolving the problems of recruitment and retention. This paper, therefore, discusses the major reasons and the consequential recommendations as to improving volunteer firefighter numbers.

Literature – Comparison of Short Stories and Poems This paper focuses on the similarities and differences of the representation of death and the impermanence in the short story "A Father's Story" by Andre Dubus, and the poem "Because I could not stop for Death" by Emily Dickinson. "A Father's Story" and "Because I could not stop for Death" are two very different approaches to the subjects of Death and impermanence. First, their forms are quite different. "A Father's Story" is a short story and is true to that form: it is brief, it uses few characters, it strives to prove a main point, and it uses concise, pointed writing to move the story along quickly and to portray characters by the way they speak. "Because I could not stop for Death" is a poem, written in balanced, lined verse with specific words used to arouse an imaginative or emotional response from the reader. Secondly, the two works approach the subject matter differently in several aspects. "A Father's Story" has a moral point of view about the father's abandonment of his principles to save his daughter. In this way, the short story acts as a parable and reflects Dubus' own Catholic beliefs. "Because I could not stop for Death" has no particular moral and makes no mention of God or religion; however, it speaks of "eternity" and gives Death human characteristics and is laden with sadness and hopelessness. In this way, it reflects Dickinson's own isolation and loneliness. Comparing these two works shows how very different writing forms can be in style and substance, even though they discuss the same topics. ?

William O'Donohue provides practical advice for dealing with difficult personalities in his book Difficult Personalities: It's Not You – It's Them. This essay takes a real-life example of a difficult person and examines the value of this advice retroactively. When it comes to a coworker with a possible antisocial personality disorder, the best advice seems to be either change jobs or accept that this person will not change. Doing so may free internal resources that could be better spent coping, rather than reacting emotionally.

This is a three page paper. It is about the movie Proof directed by John Madden and starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Hopkins, and Jake Gyllenhaal. The film is about mathematical genius father and daughter, who also deal with mental illness. The father dies, and The daughter suspects she might be going crazy. The title refers to a mathematical proof that she wrote, but which at first no one believes is hers. Whether this is due to gender bias or mental illness bias remains to be seen.
