This paper is about business ethics. The first subject is corporate social responsibility, talking about what it is and to what extent companies need to be responsible. The second is about learning about ethical theories. The third is about the ethics of corporate involvement in politics, trying to define corruption for an international framework.

This essay is about the Book of Judges and five sources of literature that highlight the cycle within the Book of Judges. It reflects on the struggles of not just the Jews, but the Greeks, and others who have somehow or another lost faith in themselves only to regain it and their independence.

This paper looks at some of the dominant economists and economic theories that we have studied over the course of the semester. The paper examines how many of these thinkers overlap and where they differ and how those differences often manifest. Furthermore, this paper also looks at what my favorite and least favorite economic theories were and why.

In most of the literature, China’s Cultural Revolution gets a bad rap. It is considered a time of social turmoil that eventually led to an economic disaster for the country. There are accounts of intellectuals being persecuted as well as violence in many communities. However, the author, Dongping Han, gives a different account of this period. In many cases, history is written by the winners. Therefore, the capitalistic model that eventually won the debate undoubtedly discredited the communist roots of the Cultural Revolution. In this sense, Han points out many of the accomplishments that China was able to produce during this period. As a product of the Cultural Revolution himself, Han is able to give many personal stories of the movement’s success.

This paper is an argumentative essay about ending the prohibition on recreational marijuana use. Three main thrusts of argument are used, the economic argument, the social argument and the crime argument. Evidence and rhetoric are used to promote the position that the prohibition on the recreational use of marijuana needs to be abolished.

This paper is about a few random subjects. First there is discussion about Google and antitrust issues, including the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, and how to define Google's industry. Then there is a question about a vague hypothetical scenario. Finally, there is a discussion about the role of management in enhancing the wealth of the shareholders.

How can human rights be classified in terms of good and bad, they have to be good for everyone; equal educational opportunities cannot go wrong in any country except in countries that are rigid in such beliefs. Cultures close to religions have more solid beliefs in certain norms. Hence, anthropologists argue that one’s right is other’s right as well. The present scenario has left many anthropologists uncertain about the validity of any such claims. Rosen studied Krutch’s concept of equating two theories; moral anarchy and relativism.

This paper is about the Federal Reserve and monetary policy. Mostly, it describes what the Fed does, what economic variables it is supposed to be managing, and the different policy tools that it uses to manage the supply and cost of money in the banking system, so open market transactions, discount rate and reserve requirements.

Data was found that showed the total number of players that was a player in the NBA as well as involved in the FIBA network from HoopsHype.com (HoopsHype.com). There was also data collected by the FIBA teams current rank in relation to the amount of points that they were able to earn based on the FIBA ranking system (FIBA). From these two data sources a composite of the data was combined to show the number of NBA players, the team’s total points and the team’s rank. From this condensed data set many insights can be gained. One that was initially apparent was that any team that had at least two active NBA players on their rooster was officially ranked. Many teams that only had one NBA players did not even achieve ranking status.
