Eleanor Roosevelt was born in October, 11, 1884, in the city of New York, she was a shy child and she lost her mother at an early age in 1982, at the age of 10, her father died and became an orphan (William et al, 2002). She was the niece of President Theodore Roosevelt, and she grew up to be one of the famous women if not the famous in white house, after being married to her distant cousin Franklin D.
