Although the most popular conceptions of god view him as an all-powerful, all-knowing entity, the existence of evil makes this kind of god logically impossible. Even if one changes the definitions such that this god is logically possible, it remains extremely improbably due to a lack of evidence, and as such a belief in such a god is not reasonable or tenable.
