Collaboration occurs when two or more individuals, agencies, or other forms of organizations commence a mutually beneficial relationship toward a shared goal. Collaboration includes a shared determination or will to reach a goal or achieve an objective in many ways such as sharing knowledge/information, sharing resources, combining resources and staff in innovative manners, as well as by constructing and maintaining a consensus. Construction and maintaining a consensus during collaborative efforts keeps every party involved on the same page; there is no one body that retains more knowledge than another or at least all parties involved have the same general sense of the situation or activity. Collaboration is an activity that requires effort in of itself. Collaboration by nature must be two-way or else it is not collaboration, but simply the execution of hierarchy.

The US Army is a model of inclusiveness and diversity. Diversity awareness is central to its education and training process and highly valued throughout the organization. In literature, online and in public promotional campaigns, the Army makes reference to its position that its strength is in its people. This paper takes a closer look at what the benefits of diversity are for this branch of the US military.

The war in Afghanistan is visibly approaching its end in 2014 as the U.S has committed to withdraw majority of combat troops in the year 2014. Since it is an electioneering pledge made by President Obama, it is likely that the U.S will not let any worsening of the Afghan security situation to hinder his withdrawal plan from Afghanistan. The theoretical perspective of the Afghan war, however, points to a somewhat disturbing situation in the future. Use of Ad-hoc terrorist theory, war of the flea theory, and fourth generation warfare theory by the Taliban fighters in confluence with Al-Qaeda indicate that Taliban will find it highly difficult to come in peaceful terms with historically anti-Taliban warring groups. Thus, superiority in terms of war skills of Taliban may result in another era of civil war in Afghanistan, as happened after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan back in 1989. Writers such as Ann Jones portray a bleak picture of a victorious America in Afghanistan. The writer observes ‘Compromise, Conflict, or Collapse' as the only possibilities of Afghan endgame. The present study theoretically investigates the possible outcome of American withdrawal from the region.

The construction and design management process is unique in its approach. In particular, design management must be conducted in a manner that minimizes error while providing reliability. In many instances, design management may have differing requirements depending primarily on the client and the overall nature of the work. However, the overall process has many basic underlying principles that ensure client needs are adequately met. It is through this process that the overall design management progression is unique. The various stages of the process interact with one another in a symbiotic manner. Each step in the process builds upon the other with respect to the client needs and government regulations. The process is straight forward in its progressions which allows for flexibility within an uncertain work environment. Through the integration of sustainable design management combined with the of the UK government construction strategy, the overall process is more reliable and trustworthy. Therefore the design management process is directly correlated to the overall project lifecycle. Through this document, we will discuss the various stages of the design management process. The document will begin with a brief introduction providing a synopsis of the design management process. The document will then delve into considerations into the challenges plaguing design management and possible solutions. The report will then conclude with an explanation of the design management process as it relates to the overall product lifecycle.

Increase in Divorce Cases This assignment deals with two hypotheses: "Are Social Networking and Sites Increasing the Rate of Divorce?" and "Is the Empowerment of Women Increasing the Rate of Divorce?" After finding that the rate of divorce has actually decreased, the hypotheses were modified to: "Are Social Networking and Sites Contributing to Divorce?" and "Is the Empowerment of Women Contributing to Divorce?" Research showed that social networking and sites statistically do not contribute to divorce; in fact, social networking and sites decrease divorce in some aspects. Furthermore, research showed that women's empowerment in education, finance and employment all statistically decrease divorce. In sum, the exercise showed that hypotheses must be examined for false assumptions, then modified to narrower questions, then honestly and statistically answered.
