The paper incorporates the summary of the literature reviewed highlighting the ideas that come out in literature as components of customer satisfaction and loyalty. The methods of survey used in the study are rationalized to support it use. The paper expounds on the key findings in the survey linking them to literature and further elaborating on implementation of recommendations given.

This paper provides a critical assessment of John Searle's 2000 article entitled "Consciousness." It argues that Searle's approach is weakened by his failure to acknowledge self-consciousness as a scientific problem. The paper also looks at syntactic knowledge, semantic knowledge, form, and content in how they relate to consciousness, human intelligence, and artificial intelligence.

The research supports the literature and confirms that managers in financial institutions do believe that stock options do tend to encourage greater risk-seeking behavior by executives. However, the respondents in this study appear to underestimate the influence that the financial conditions of a firm, the decision context, and the principle-agent dynamics can have on this articulation of managerial risk-seeking behavior. That this is true, is in concert with the behavior model of Wiseman and Gomez-Meijia (1998) and with their suggestion that the theories of stock option incentives are "underdeveloped."

This study attempts to address the recent decline in arts patronage with an eye towards its underlying factors. While recent research has focused on the mix of economic pressures which have resulted in decreased funding for the arts, this research has frequently failed to investigate the attitudes and perceptions which inform these economic decisions. In order to bridge this critical lacuna, this study examines the different barriers to participation in the arts and determines that the recent decline is the result of practical and perceptual barriers to participation that engage in a vicious cycle wherein misinformed attitudes towards art precipitate decreased public and private support, which then serves perpetuate these attitudes. Stepping outside this cycle in order to reverse the decline requires an honest assessment of art's benefits and which benefits should be included when making appeals for greater patronage and support.
