Academic outcomes and support strategies for students with ADHD
This paper is about Students with ADHD in the Qualitative Article Review paper. Learning disabilities are by nature very individualized, and three students with ADHD are not necessarily representative of the larger whole. In particular, the ADHD population comprises a wide range of students in terms of academic ability and socioeconomic status, spanning from the very gifted to the academically challenged. To answer these concerns, the study focused only on students with a primarily inattentive (versus a hyperactive) form of ADHD and students were not on any medications because of parental objections.
Smoking behavior among students
This paper examines smoking behavior in college age students. It begins with assumptions about college age smokers: they self-identify as social smokers, they are more likely to smoke in social settings, and approximately one-third of them smoke. Based on informal observations in a bar and on campus, students did appear to smoke more in social settings and many of them considered themselves social smokers.
Students\' Right to Free Speech the Right
The right of student to free speech is a matter that has been debated over years. Where many people claim that students, just like any other group of people, have the right of free speech, others claim that students should know where their limits end. Therefore, at many schools, colleges and universities, the students are provided with a code of conduct that they have to follow. This code of conduct defines rules of speech for the students; to tell them where they have to start speaking and where they should end. These codes have also been controversial in some places.
