Associating its name with consumer-demanded quality, Intel would force buyers such as Dell, HP and Apple to ultimately eschew its competitors. With respect to rivalry, its market-share is singular. For new entrants, the greatest hope is that the presentation of innovation to the industry will alert Intel's interest and that it will make an offer to purchase the innovative technology in question. With the inception of Intel into use with new media products such as the Apple's line of iPods, iPhones and iPads, there is little rivalry to speak of.
