If this interview was conducted face-to-face I think I would have actually performed better. I am more at ease dealing with interpersonal communications in a face-to-face context. Phones are not really my best medium for communication -- something I need to work on -- and so I probably came across as more nervous from the sound of my voice than if I was in person. Again, that is something I am going to have to improve to prepare for a future in health care marketing.
I think the experience was excellent. I definitely want to work on this sort of thing, so I am keen to go through this entire process. Not only is learning how to interview better going to get me a better job with a better company, but it is going to make me a better health care marketing professional. I consider exercises like this to be building my core skill set, so I really enjoy these type of exercises.
