John does have amazing support from the nursing staff and the phyisicains who know him so well because of his many hospital visits. They know his health issues and situation, making it much easier to diagnose and treat issues that he is having. This is an excellent source of support, because half the work of diagnosis is done just the second he walks into the door, saving him precious time and ensuring better treatment. Although John does have a lot of support, he has little support elsewhere, which is concerning. He lives alone, with his closest relative 400 miles away.
