The final two phases in the Cornell Method are called Execution and Control (as opposed to simply Execution) and Closeout (as opposed to Closure), but even these slight differences are essentially meaningless. Enterprise Project Management is yet another methodology of project management, and again though there are slight differences in the organization and labeling of the various phases of project management in this methodology, it is highly similar to the two discussed above. In the Enterprise Project Management Methodology, the project moves from Concept to Planning, then moves on to Start-Up before moving on to Execution and Close-Out (KDA 2011). The specific framework selected, however, does not really matter much as long as it contains the same basic elements of an initial phase, a planning phase, and execution phase, and some form of review to lead to true closure and integration of the project.
