Training sessions can also focus both on employers and employees, their understanding of the concept of employment risk, and their communication skills. When communication is improved, employment risk can also be reduced. Employees especially can learn to improve their communication skills, whereas employers can collaborate in this effort by creating an open environment, in which employees have the freedom to voice any concerns. During such training sessions the company protocol with regard to employment risk can also be drawn up for both employers and employees to discuss. In this way employment risk becomes an open issue rather than a hidden one behind which employees can hide whenever there is a chance of suing the company. These are then also aspects upon which focus needs to be placed when looking for improvements on this issue. The consultant could then also act in a monitoring capacity, informing employers when there is a high risk of employee dissatisfaction or stress. This can then be dealt with before it becomes a serious issue.
Issues specifically important to my company then especially include risk assessment, where employee stress levels and dissatisfaction are closely monitored. Furthermore I also believe communication is an extremely important issue in this regard. There should be an open channel of communication between employees and management. Only in this way can all persons involved in a company reach the company goals together.
