The Historical Development of Medical Treatment and the Role of Government in Delivering Health Care
Major developments in medicine since independence
Since the invasion of Spain by the Moors, there have been some significant developments in the field of medicine in the United States of America. World globalization has had direct impacts on the manner in which medical personnel and activities have been executed in the world. The period before independence saw a jumble of the medical health activities in the United States of America. Various inventions in the health services had been established regularly since when the people acquired independence. Innovations have entered into the field of medicine and transformed the way in which medical advances and services are delivered to the people. For instance, the elicitation of the medical emergency services occurred after independence. Initially, the group was scared of resources and other facilities to establish a cohesive and equitable health care in the United States of America. However, emergency activities transformed the way in which medical services were administered to the American people (Niles, 2011).
The other development centres on the establishment of policies and approaches. These facets were used to make the health care system to be advanced and equitable in the delivery of its services to the people. Part of the policies is the laws that gave women control over their health care. This law was established as a form of establishing equality and freedom of choice and expression by the people.
Advances that cost extremely little money for their enormous impact prior to election of John F, Kennedy
Before the coming in of John F, Kennedy as the president of the United States of America, there were a number of advances in the field of medicine and health care deliverables. The United States of America has been advancing in its medical explorations, policies, and mechanisms of changing the trend of delivering valuable services and products to the people. With these changes come enormous spending of finances other humanitarian materials and services. The approaches involved by the country in trying to arrive at a formative ground of establishing an effective and efficient emergency service appeared to have been expensive. Initially, the country had a vast plan that incorporated a lot of financial amendments and proposals. However, the approaches and success of the activity did not seem to match with what had been thought by the planners (Murray, 2007).
The use of many facilities and components to establish legal frameworks and facilities took a minimal amount than it had been planned. Moreover, the delivery of emergency services in the country has been growing rapidly since its establishment. This goes hand in hand with the growth of the American health care system that has dominated the country's delivery of products and services to patients. The America's health care established this emergency services branch as an agent to the overall health care system in the country. The working of the department leads to the overall success of the other programs and plans aimed by the country in delivering medical services to the country. Moreover, delivery of medical services to the marginalized and women involved approaches that consumed less amount of finances from the government and other support organs.
Question 2: Important agencies at the federal level which impact on delivery of medical services to the Americans
There are several agencies situated at the federal level that serve in delivery of medical services to the people of the United States of America. One of the agencies is the Emergency Medical Services in the United States of America. This body provides services to the people in need. The federal government works hand in hand with the state government in order to establish high standards of operation within the country in providing emergency medical services to the public. Within the emergency services, there are air medical activities provided by the federal government.
