The human resources problems of Castle's manger Mr. Jay Morgan seem to have an appropriate solution after applying the knowledge gained from researching an applicable HRIS vendor. The purpose of this essay is to explain why Castle Restaurant should choose PeopleSoft software as their HRIS vendor. The software seems to match up the specific needs of Mr. Morgan and his daily routines. I will also contrast and compare this vendor's product with Ultipro, to demonstrate the critical skills necessary to improve a managerial problem as the one in Mr. Morgan's case.

The specific demands of Castle makes Software as System (SaaS) choices for human capital management obvious. It seems as though Mr. Morgan will be the only individual needed on a daily basis to manage this particular system. The software is easy to learn, yet has the ability to manage all of Castle restaurants specific needs. Payroll can be easily managed by Mr. Moore any time simply by using the software. The software is an Internet-based making managing human resources in this company a mobile opportunity. The software can create databases to support every specific function human capital management requires for success. Due to the fact that the part-time employees make 40% of the workforce, leaving the full-time employees at 60%, the flexibility of the software makes this easy to manage as well. Benefits can be easily transferred back and forth depending on the status of the worker. Although some human resources management functions are not needed like employee tracking and other more elaborate features, but if Mr. Morgan decides to expand his human resources management role he can easily do this with the software.

PeopleSoft is the only pure Internet architecture that requires no code on the client. It allows companies to connect directly to their employees and other business contacts is efficient and has low cost. PeopleSoft is the second-largest application provider of this type, so it has a large track record of success. PeopleSoft is an industry leader and will have much support in case Mr. Morgan needs additional assistance or new applications. The cost of this software is relatively cheap compared to other options that may require database networking in additional to new expensive hardware requirements.
