Five organizations that I can join include the American Accounting Association (ACA), the National Society of Accountants (NSA), the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Though each of the five associations may be unique in its own way, they have three aspects in common with regard to purpose, meetings, and membership.
First, each of the five associations aims to mould the future of the accounting profession via research, teaching, networking, outreach, and advocacy.
