While I am a strong writer, sometimes, I have difficulty composing my thoughts in the draft stage. I would most like to improve my ability to organize my thoughts in a manner that will help me reduce the amount of time it normally takes me to go through all of the preliminary draft stages before reaching the final copy stage.

According to the feedback, our employees are most likely to respond to written communications that are clear and concise and less likely to respond to written communications that are unclear and rambling. Sometimes, intra-office written communications are hampered by careless typos and by sentences that appear not to have been proofread carefully. Our survey also disclosed the prevalence of basic grammatical errors, syntax problems, and confusion about the correct meaning of words. Even our strongest writers express the need for assistance organizing their thoughts and creating helpful drafts in the process of creating formal reports.
Recommendations

Based on the feedback solicited in our employee survey, I would respectfully recommend a writing training programs that:

Emphasizes clarity of expression and precision;

Provides grammatical, syntax, word-usage, and proofreading support; and that

Assists more accomplished writers work on specific writing problems that they have recognized, such as organizational efficiency.
