¶ … Sir

We are sending this letter in response to a recent news report aired on our local television network and regarding the little real technological capabilities of the young generation. The news coverage argued that children nowadays are exposed to technology and devices at a very young age, and while they can easily become addicted to them, ironically enough, they possess little actual technological knowledge.

We believe this is a real problem within the modern day society and we believe that a solution is represented by the provision of technological education. We believe that technology cannot be avoided and it should not be prohibited from the children's lives, but that children should be taught how to use it properly and to advance their education and personal goals.

With this objective in mind, we offer to provide technological classes for the children in our community. The classes would be organized during week nights and Saturday mornings, so they can be attended by the children outside school hours. They would be hosted at our offices and would be provided, through rotation, by volunteer staffs at our company. Each class would be focused on different topics, such as graphics, composing music using technology, programming robots, conducting research online and so on. The groups formed will be homogeneous, meaning that the young participants to a class would be of similar age and interests and the topics of the classes would be tailored to their specific characteristics (such as interest or age appropriate content).
