Values are something that every individual and organization has, whether or not they know they have them and/or consciously utilize them. They are the ways that all entities decide how to act, and while typically we associate the term "values" with "good values" someone could -- and many do -- value money over fairness, or pleasure over responsibility, etc. That is, simply having "values" does not mean acting in a good way, but rather defining what values a person holds and what level these values have relative to each other and to the actins one takes. In addition, though everyone individual and organization has values, values are also something that can be consciously and continually developed, refined, adjusted, and even changed.
