Which Witch is Which?

“What the problem with twin witches? You never know which witch is which!”

Chapter One: How It All Started

Once many decades ago or maybe this decade… Who really knows

There were two witches that looked exactly the same.

From the top of their hat to the tip of their big green toes.

And making people guess which witch was which was part of their fame.

One was name Witch and the other was named Who

And which was which no one had a clue.

When you looked at them, you could not believe your eyes. They were so much alike.

From there, sharp pointed faces and the same degree angle on their crooked noses

Even their snagged teeth were snagged in the same frightening sight

They complimented each other by saying you’re so ugly and striking witchy poses,

I mean it every minor detail from the same location of their warts.

To the same number of hairs on their head not that I’ve counted, of course

Their identical appearance caused quite a stir,

In the magical town where they chose to occur.

The townspeople would giggle and scratch their heads,

Trying to figure out which witch was which instead.

Witch and Who loved to play their tricky game,

Swapping places and answering to each other's name.

They'd cackle with glee as folks got confused,

Their mischievous nature thoroughly amused.

Chapter Two: Molly Solves the Riddle

One day, a clever child named Molly came to town,

Determined to tell the witches apart, she wouldn't back down.

She watched them closely, day after day,

Until she noticed something that gave them away.

"I've solved it!" she cried, jumping up and down,

The witches froze, their smiles turned to a frown.

"Witch always stirs her potion to the right,

While Who stirs to the left, day and night!"

The town erupted in cheers for smart little Molly,

The witches' game was over, they felt rather silly.

But instead of being mad, they laughed with delight,

And decided Molly’s cleverness was quite all right.

Molly didn’t stop there, but she also observed,

Which and Who also deserve,

To have their other differences celebrated,

Since the townfolk had all been educated.

But you may wonder, how did Molly solve the case?

Well, it was all in the subtle differences in their witchy ways.

You see, Witch and Who, though they looked the same,

Had their own unique quirks that set them apart, like a game.

And though their noses were crooked at the same degree,

Witch's always pointed just a tad higher, you see.

Their snagged teeth, though frightening and the same,

Were just slightly off, like a cracked mirror's frame.

And the location of their warts, a hidden clue,

Were placed just a bit different on Witch and on Who.

Molly giggled and clapped, overjoyed at her find,

Seeing how Witch and Who were one of a kind.

Though their appearances tried to deceive,

Their differences were there, if you chose to perceive.

From that day on, Witch and Who had a new friend,

And their tricks and trades came to a happy end.

They taught Molly magic, both proper and fun,

And the three became the best of friends, second to none.

So keep in mind, dear children, looks can deceive,

But if you look closely, you'll always perceive,

That even the most identical of twins,

Have differences that show in the oddest of things!

Chapter Three: Witchy Boys!

The boys in town, once shy and meek, now joined in with glee,

Twirling and whirling, as witchy as can be.

They donned pointy hats and painted warts with goo,

Eager to dance and guess which witch was who.

With broomsticks in hand and capes flowing free,

The boys hopped and skipped, filled with mischievous glee.

They stirred imaginary potions, some left and some right,

Trying to guess which witch was which, oh what a sight!

Their laughter rang out as they danced with such fun,

The "Which Witch is Which" dance had only begun.

Boys young and old joined in the witchy game,

Proving that magic and dance knew no gender or name.

So remember, dear friends, when you hear this tale,

Of Witch and of Who, and Molly so frail,

That boys can be witches in dance and in play,

In the "Which Witch is Which" game that brightens the day!

And so the song and dance began, a celebration of witchy delight,

With Witch and Who leading the way, their movements filled with might.

Song: “Stir to the Left, then to the Right” (Version One)

(Sung to the tune of "Wheels on the Bus")

The witches stir to the left and right,

Left and right, left and right.

The witches stir to the left and right,

All through the town.

Witch and Who twirl round and round,

Round and round, round and round.

Witch and Who twirl round and round,

All through the town.

The pointed hats go up and down,

Up and down, up and down.

The pointed hats go up and down,

All through the town.

The crooked noses wiggle so,

Wiggle so, wiggle so.

The crooked noses wiggle so,

All through the town.

Which witch is which, we cannot tell,

Cannot tell, cannot tell.

Which witch is which, we cannot tell,

All through the town.

Their magic spells go zap, zap, zap,

Zap, zap, zap, zap, zap, zap.

Their magic spells go zap, zap, zap,

All through the town.

The witches laugh with cackle and glee,
