In both instances however, significant evidence can be obtained by those who are alert and attentive. Those who are bored often neglect to notice evidence or occurrences that may be of extreme importance to the overall objective. As such, the individual's boredom could cost both the tax payer and the sponsoring nation extensive amounts of money (Gal-or, 1990). Finally, mechanical and production errors can affect unmanned aircraft operators. Human errors often occur in the production of mechanical vehicles. This is particularly true if the product is relatively new in comparison to other products within the market. Human errors occurring in the production of UASs can have adverse consequences for the operator. For one, as indicated by extensive research in the field, drones are highly susceptive to adverse weather conditions. These weather conditions, which include snow, Shail, winds, and rain, ultimately effect the manner in which humans can operate UASs. As such the production of these products must be flawless; otherwise the use of UASs will be significantly diminished. As such human factors from...

This is particularly true when consideration is given to the overall purpose of UASs. Aerial surveillance of large areas is made possible with low cost UAS systems. Surveillance applications include: livestock monitoring, wildfire mapping, pipeline security, home security, road patrol and anti-piracy. The trend for use of UAS technology in commercial aerial surveillance is expanding rapidly with increased development of automated object detection approaches. As such, flawless execution and monitoring is needed (Horgen, 2013).

This category can further be divided into six subgroups namely; short-range, medium range, long-range, close range, endurance, Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The long-range UAVs are technologically more advanced as they use satellites in order to overcome the communication problem between the UAVs and the ground stations. This communication problem is generally caused by the curvature of the earth. The medium, short and close range

20th century has been one of remarkable technological advancements and of increased need to further improve human existence and the speed through which man runs about its everyday life. These ideas alone have demonstrated an immense capacity of man to research and invent new ideas, mechanisms, and to elaborate on the most important technological evolutions to set these mechanisms in motion. However, these evolutions have not been without flaws

History of the selected system, including developer/manufacturer, need it was built to fulfill, and unique characteristicsThe history of unmanned aerial systems has been heavily emphasized for centuries. Many countries around the world used UAS as a means to provide a competitive advantage during war times. Others uses these systems as a means to create a climate of surveillance and research. These findings have been used to create further commercial

UAV and High Frequency Radio Unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV) have been in use for some 30 years and used for a variety of purposes. Most commonly, these aircraft are used for military or scientific reconnaissance missions, where data is gathered to improve the ability of professionals to perform their duties. There are, however, a variety of challenges that must be met when these aircraft are in use. One of these is

Failure to Promise: An Uncommon Path to Professoriate is Dr. C. Moorer's self-help book that aims to motivate the reader and help to establish a series of self-analytical tools that will help the reader achieve his or her goals. As an individual pursuing a degree in aeronautical science, it is difficult to fully relate to Dr. Moorer's journey to become an engineer and professor because of the background that

Galileo Product Idea Description Most technical innovations in any field have been combinations or amalgams of software and hardware applications that were never meant to be used together. However, they have nevertheless come into existence because someone decided to marry up these unimagined elements in combination with each other. To midwife these projects to full fruition, startup money is needed. As usual, the military is the usual maternity ward for such applications and
