3. The Value of Wisdom:

16:16 Having wisdom and knowledge is much better than having wealth without wisdom or knowledge.

23:23 This verse says that you should obtain the truth, wisdom, discipline and understanding, likening them to purchases. It advises you to obtain those things no matter the cost and never let go of them.

31:26 This verse mentions wisdom as one of the characteristics of an ideal wife with a noble character. In verse 10 of the same chapter it states that such a wife "is worth far more than rubies." Such a woman will be a wise and loving instructor and advisor to her children and her husband and is to be valued.

Obtaining Wisdom
11:2 When you are humble, you are able to accept advice and instruction and therefore you will gain wisdom. However if you are too proud to accept advice, you will inevitably fail.

15:33 Fearing and respecting God and His teachings will give you wisdom.

21:11 When a wise man is given advice or instruction, he gains more understanding knowledge and wisdom. When someone who is arrogant and proud suffers adverse events because of his pride, normal people will themselves find wisdom and realise that being proud is not good.

Despite all the virtues of wisdom, 21:30 states that God is above all wisdom and you cannot deceive Him with worldly knowledge and wisdom. 30:3 also states that the writer has not gained understanding of God and compared to Him, he is neither wise nor knowledgeable.
