The house sits back on a quarter acre lot with woods to the right and a barn to the left. The moon is full, which lights the yard so that the freshly fallen snow glistens as if it were covered in glaze. The air is as silent as the song Silent Night, implies. There is a holy feeling when one stands before the house, views the white winter snow and counts the stars in the crisp clear sky. The fireplace is stoked with logs that snap crackle and pop with each new discovery. The smoke billows from the chimney and dances into the sky with delight.
