For over a century, the fields of psychology and neuroscience have seen themselves as offering polarized paradigms to treating disorders. This paper deals with a new suggested paradigm which views the disciplines as fundamentally complementary. It challenges the concept of the 'nature versus nurture' debate and suggests there is really no division between body and mind.

This paper talks about the psychological conditions that a patient Diane is going through due to the various instances of physical and sexual abuse in her life. After giving a detailed summary of her condition, this paper talks about the various theories that could be used to treat it. The Cognitive therapy and the Ehler and Clark model are chosen specifically for Diane's condition. Empirical evidence is provided for why this theory was chosen. Along with talking about the theory, this paper also talks about the biblical view on this situation and how to deal with it a theistic approach.

Susan Glaspell's play Trifles is an example of an early feminist text because it focuses on the value of women's labor. In the same way that early feminists were interested in getting society to value the contributions made by women in the domestic sphere, so too is the play interested in demonstrating how women's contributions can lead to more complete knowledge.
