Obesity program development and implementation strategies
Abstract
Effective planning is one of the keys to successful projects. Childhood obesity is essentially one of America’s toughest health concerns. California, which forms the basis of this text, has approximately 35.4% of its population as obese. Out of this percentage, approximately 18.3% are children aged below five, and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 20. It is speculated that by 2030, more than half of the Californian population will be obese. This text develops a comprehensive, while-of-community plan for childhood obesity-prevention in Pinole, Laurel Park and Marina Bay.
