Global changes in the banking and financial sectors have cause flow of not only work but finance to countries that were unreachable like China and Indian have opened markets globally owing to the international and US pressure after globalization. The need to invest in these countries stem from the fact that Indian market is very lucrative especially with the Forex and commodities. These changes have resulted in the introduction of information technology, networking, the way work is done, and qualifications has caused the outsourcing of jobs to foreign countries and thus has become the biggest economic issues of recent years. Thousands of American jobs are lost each year resulting in a fall of pay for workers around the world thus: "We need taxation on companies that export jobs and incentives for those that keep them here."

This paper focus on the educational and career path of a transfer student from Valencia Community College to the University of Central Florida. The student in the paper is obtaining an A.A. in respiratory care and then transferring to a general pre-med type B.S. program at UCF. The paper includes information from an interview with a respiratory therapist.

Hegemony refers to the domination of one class in a society over other classes. The current paper discusses how hegemony is achieved via the use of a powerful media that is able to indoctrinate working classes into the ideology of the ruling classes. This perspective is approached from a Marxist position but also discusses softer perspectives.

Apparent- and Real-Time models for understanding change in language usage come from wildly different perspectives. Apparent-Time models assume looking at different groupings of people of different ages as a single time will show how the language changes are being accepted. Real-time models seek to look across many generations as the change takes hold. But new technologies are offering a third leg for a hybrid model where computer simulations offer a clearer understanding of the complexities. This piece review the two models in light of the technological changes that are well underway.

In this paper, I have talked about the uses of the Internet and mobile devices during the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) epidemic in 2003 in the People's Republic of China in detail. Significant aspects of this case have been included. Also, I have tried to explain how the mediums of Internet and mobile devices were used to affect the conditions in China during that time.
