Competiting other countries of the world on the educational basis requires that country invest a handsome part of its spending on research and development activities.

as a global company, IBM operates in different national environments and comes in contact with a wide array of cultural traditions and customs. In India, this translates in the caste system, a very rigorous division of society into castes that leaves people at the lower end on the outside. While cultural differences are something that any global company takes into consideration, not hiring untouchables just because they belong to the lower classes is not something that IBM can do. As a global American company, IBM has a global image that it needs to protect and support and this image also implies equal opportunities for all its potential employees. It cannot afford to damage its global image only so as to pay attention to local traditions in this case.

That professional training is not required when practicing psychotherapy is either something to be worrying us a lot or something we should be thankful for. In the first case, people may be misleading themselves into thinking they can treat patients with mental health issues simply because they've been accredited by nonaccredited training programs.

Susan Glaspell's play Trifles is an example of an early feminist text because it focuses on the value of women's labor. In the same way that early feminists were interested in getting society to value the contributions made by women in the domestic sphere, so too is the play interested in demonstrating how women's contributions can lead to more complete knowledge. The women's decision to help the guilty Mrs. Wright in the end is indicative of this complete knowledge, and it leads to a better kind of morality that is only possible with a valuation of women's domestic labor.

Tell us how each of you came to the point of wanting to start your own company and what was it in your background that made you think you would be any good at it? What did each of you do to prepare yourself for entry into this field? David – I wasn't sure I would be good at it actually but I did desire to be a line manager instead of a consultant. My education, my experience at BCG, and my expertise in marketing all prepared me for my role as an entrepreneur. Bill - My work experience in personal computer allowed me many insights into the industry. I had been a programmer and then an IT manager. Later I also acquired a lot of experience in my role at BCG.
