This paper discusses the religion Hinduism and how its people behave in both peaceful and violent situations. Although Hindu are considered a predominantly peaceful people, they have a rigid caste system which encourages violence. History has shown that Hindu persons were capable of warfare, such as in India and also of governing peacefully.

This study conducts a brief examination of whether companies do enough for society by simply adding to the economy or whether companies should also attempt to be socially responsible. This study examines the literature on corporate social responsibility and finds that there are benefits as well as drawbacks to corporate social responsibility.

Though we presume that one model is male and one model is female, their similarity highlights their androgyny, their lack of gender or the blurring of gender. The authors may refer to this as post gender. With a quick glance, either model could be either gender or both at once because we cannot see their bodies. Confusion or diffusion of gender is implied in the composition of this photo. This may be what the authors refer to when speaking of disruption with regard to stereotypes of the human body.

It does seem that whenever there has been a lag between legislation and disruptive technology, ethics takes a backseat. This wave of protective instruments is serving to erode unfettered access to markets (Nakamura, 2000).

This paper looks at archival evidence collected over the past forty years regarding the beliefs of the people in the rural southern appalachian mountains. The archive examined had a gross amount of information so it was necessary to take just a small portion of it to write this paper. The beliefs encompass religion, ghost stories and other beliefs and how they were used to shape culture.

There has been a significant amount of debate in the literature about what constitutes good corporate governance in regards to establishing term limits on members of the board of directors in non-profit organizations. The debate ranges from arguments that propose that any kind of term limit is unnecessary and could hinder the overall performance of the board, to some kind of term limit being a necessary requisite to proper board management. There are also arguments that rest in the middle of these two poles. For example, some charters will only allow board members to serve so many consecutive years. Thus, after taking some time off, a former board member would reset their clock and be able to return to the board after their break from this position. There are also many other variations and different strategies that are aimed at bridging the divide and creating a structure that facilitates good corporate governance.

An overview of VHA's tele-health program is given in this article which includes an interview of a leader who is involved in this program. This program along with its operational and strategic considerations can be utilized by the non-governmental health systems that are keen to adopt better health treatments for their patients.

The right to privacy should be protected more than the freedom of the press to avoid more harm to victims of crimes and to allow celebrities to enjoy private lives with family. the courts have upheld a broad view of the right to privacy and interpreted amendments where journalists do not have special privileges. The press should be made to uphold the right to privacy as well.
