Victims of crimes need support, but when they are reluctant to turn to traditional sources like law enforcement, where can they go? The National Center for Victims of Crime is featured in this paper, and presented as a place where victims can go. Also the NCVC is an organization that trains professionals in the area of helping victims, which is extremely valuable given the rising number of rapes and domestic violence.

Human trafficking is one of the most serious, pervasive, and growing crimes in the new global economy. This paper discusses practical responses for healthcare workers and social workers who are suspicious of this crime when treating victims. It also discusses the need for liberalizing visa laws that attempt to protect trafficked victims.

Human Trafficking is occurring all around the world and also in the United States. This is not just a crime that is committed in other countries. There have been cases reported by the authorities in every single state. Those victimized are at every age from adults to young children of both genders. Based on federal reporting it is estimated that the number of persons exploited sexually for money or trafficked are in the thousands (DOJ, 2007). Some are brought into the U.S. from other countries and the number of citizens that are trafficked in the U.S. are unknown officially. The primary sex crimes being includes child exploitation, prostitution, and pornography (Keane, 2006).

This is a three page paper about sex trafficking. The paper focuses on how to eliminate sex trafficking, by using eight reputable sources. However, the eight sources are integrated into only 30% of the paper, the remainder of which consists of personal ideas and opinions. Therefore, the sources substantiate the claim that sex trafficking can only be stopped using a system of efforts that include government/legislation, NGO, and public awareness campaigns.

Human trafficking is the illegal slave trade of humans, largely for the purposes of sexual exploitation or forced labor. Recently, this has broadened to the trade in extracted organs or tissues, surrogacy, and even ova removal. International law states this is a crime because it violates the victim’s rights through coercion and commercially motivated exploitation.

Forced labor is one of the most important and at the same time intriguing "diseases" of the 21st century particularly because it should no longer be a subject for discussion considering that the 21st century should be one of technological advancements, of improvements in the living standards, as well as it the overall consideration of human life as being essential for the well-being of our future. Yet, there are constant cases of forced labor in regions such as Africa or Asia that have questioned the ability of the state and of the human being to protect another human being from abuses.

This paper profiles the issue of human trafficking in Vietnam. It suggests that women who are trafficked as part of Vietnam's sex trade need particular protection because of unique circumstances in that nation that make it a 'hot spot' of sexual trafficking. The paper primarily takes the approach of a critique of a peer-reviewed journal article on the subject.
