This paper discusses ways to evaluate the performance of nurses in university and continuing education settings. There have been complaints about the inconsistency of evaluation worldwide. The paper takes the form of a literature review of peer-reviewed journal articles in practice settings spanning from the UK to the US to Turkey to Malaysia to remedy this concern.

Classification of Osteogenesis Imperfecta Syndromes

This paper reviews several recent leadership theories and evaluates them according to their effectiveness and their ability to integrate a participatory framework into organizational studies. Leadership theories have switched from a focus primarily upon the nature of the leaders to the effects followers can have on leaders. It concludes with a discussion of the application of these theories to real life situations.

The topic for this particular paper revolves around the EU Energy Crisis that has plagued the entire continent of Europe over the past decade. The paper discusses how Europe is still dependent heavily on imports and thus relies on the legal rules and regulations of energy and the security revolved around it.

In the aftermath of the Second World War the British Empire was began to disintegrate with a number of colonies engaging in conflicts aimed at driving the British out and gaining their independence.

This study involves a real-world analysis of noise sources and levels on an intensive care unit (ICU). The environmental sources of noise were shown to include equipment monitors, pagers, beepers, mechanical ventilators and so forth, but other environmental factors such as ambient lighting, building design and pharmacological interventions all play a role in affecting sleep patterns on the ICU.

This is a white paper for Cambium Point-to-Point (PTP) network solutions and a request for proposal (RFP) for a wireless networking solution. The White Paper presents the features of Cambium's PTP solutions while the RFP is based on a fictitious non-profit, Just Say Health, which requires connectivity for their offices in the state of New Jersey.

Two of the most famous authors of the colonial era in America were Benjamin Franklin and Jonathan Edwards. However, while Franklin labeled himself a 'self-made man' and suggested that God helped those who helped themselves in his persona of Poor Richard, Jonathan Edwards stressed the innately fallen nature of the human soul and the need for the intervention of divine grace.

Critical to the success of any formalized debate is the direct feedback debaters receive from the attending judges, because debaters anticipate and value the appraisal of their contributions provided by a completed debate ballot. The process of improving one’s ability to persuasively present ideas is significantly enhanced when an objective opinion is provided, and by flowing a debate before submitting a decision via ballot, judges provide the impetus for aspiring debaters to hone their craft. Another crucial aspect of the balloting process is to assist the debaters – whether they have been declared the victors or the vanquished – to better understand the reasoning process used to inform each judge’s decision. To that end, anybody attempting to accurately judge a debate must be prepared to provide insightful commentary, a rigorous analysis of each completed round, and the ultimate basis for their ballot decision. Although judges also deliver a verbal critique of each debate, the act of writing commentary and feedback on a paper ballot serves to help debate coaches and their charges to understand the motivations and machinations of the debate judging process. There is no formally accepted structure for a debate ballot, but several crucial elements should be integrated into this process in the name of uniformity, accuracy and integrity. The reasoning process underpinning a judge’s decision should be fully explicated, direct commentary should be offered to debaters on an individual basis, and comparative analysis of argumentative merit from each round are extremely useful resources for debaters hoping to improve their oratorical skill set. The following flow and ballot was constructed while observing the NPDA Finals Debate between Mercer University and Morehouse College, which took place on September 21st of this year at the University of North Georgia’s annual Chicken and the Egg Classic.
