Introduction Some hope was given for the current legal environment to become better defined for health-care providers when Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) was passed by the in 1996. As previously mentioned, HIPAA is a monumental act that attempts to address and incorporate all three issues-- privacy, confidentiality, and security within one law. When HIPAA was passed, many applauded the portability aspects of HIPAA that allowed for continuing healthcare coverage for individuals who lost their jobs and attendant healthcare insurance. But few back in 1996 anticipated the dramatic impact that HIPAA would have later on the privacy and security of patient's health information in the United States.

Abstract The following page provide a personal leadership plan intended to detail the objectives established by a person intending to become an efficient leader, the resources that are necessary in order to reach these objectives, and the steps of the plan. The personal vision and mission of the leader focus on the advantages of flexible leadership. The self-assessment of leadership strengths and weaknesses provide an image of what can be improved in order to become a successful leader. The personal leadership plan also presents the medium term and long term goals, the competency development plan, and the preferred leadership style.

This study will describe airline cost structure, the nature of fixed, variable, and controlled costs, and methods employed by the selected carrier to obtain sustainable competitive cost advantages over other carriers. This study will discuss the methods of Revenue Management used by your selected air carrier and how it relates to other industries.

The objective of this study is to examine what is unique or different about the Korean financial crisis as compared to other Asian financial crises and to determine the primary causes of the financial crisis in Korea. This work will further examine the government response to the crisis and what it is that can be learned from the Korean financial crisis and applied in Korea to the Euro Area. Lessons learned from the Korean Financial Crisis include the need for monitoring of international capital flows and conducting better international debt management. In addition there is a need for maintenance of a competitive, efficient, and well regulated financial system that is protected from international contagion. Finally there is a need for establishment of an effective nonperforming asset management mechanism such as the Koreas Asset Management Corporation.

Postpartum depression can inflict an emotional and physical health toll on the entire family and lead to lifelong cognitive, social, and physical health problems for the infant. For this reason, the medical community believes this condition represents a significant public health threat. Nurses can play an especially important role in helping to reduce the stress incurred by a first-time pregnancy, by acting as a source of information, counselor, technical expert, and even surrogate family member, thereby reducing the risk of postpartum depression. This essay examines recent research concerning preventive and interventional measures that nurses can employ to reduce the risk that this condition will emerge.

The Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire contains 29 statements designed to assess an individual's levels of anger, hostility, physical aggression, and verbal aggression. It is a self-assessment. For the purpose of this paper, eight individuals were asked to take the questionnaire. Four were members of one family. The other four were randomly selected students at the university library.
