Racial Profiling the Distinguished Harvard Professor Henry
The essay is an argument on the injustice of racial profiling. Racial profiling is the practice of law enforcement officers in stopping an individual of a certain race or ethnicity and investigating them based on their ethnicity. Such practices may occur in traffic routines, guns or drugs (African Americans), illegal immigration (Hispanics or Latinos), or in matters connected with security (Muslims and Arabs).
Racial profiling was authorized in 2001 with the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a division of the Office of Justice Programs, United States Department of Justice, establishing the web-based Racial Profiling Data Collection Resource Center. The website was designed to train police officials in the ropes and tactics of racial profiling and also served as clearing house for police agencies, legislators, community leaders, social scientists, legal researchers, and journalists all of which can be used to collect and formulate racial profiling analyses (*The Institute on Race and Justice at Northeastern University. (2011).). In 2003, however, the Department of Justice issued its Guidance Regarding the Use of Race by Federal Law Enforcement Agencies forbidding the practice of racial profiling by federal law enforcement officials (*Amnesty International USA.(2007)

Evening in the Palace of Reason: Bach
This paper is a book report about "Evening in the Palace of Reason: Bach Meets Frederick the Great in the Age of Enlightenment (Harper Perennial, James Gaines), 2006".Gaines' book discusses two of history's greatest men, each of whom became great for a different reason. One was a political leader and statesman the other a musician. The biography of each could not have been more different. Both had tough lives and both fought against enormous stakes but one lived in a palace and the other travelled from place to place living in some at most only 3 years. One sampled jail and the other saw his partner killed and was saved by being sent to the military. One was homosexual and the other happily married in love. Bach's love in contradistinction to that of Frederick was more serene and meaningful. His music absorbed him and made him happy. He was focused; his life purely devoted to cantatas and organ music. His character, possibly formed by his music, was placid and thoughtful. Frederick the Great, on the other hand, was tempestuous and troublesome. His difficult childhood forced him to be great despite trauma that would have unsettled almost anyone else. Bach too persevered, persisting at a craft that was onerous and lonely and took him a while to develop. Their differences, in short, were extreme. Their commonalities? Perhaps, that both attained greatness through different means.
Juvenile delinquency: causes, consequences, and intervention strategies
Criminal justice institutions and social service agencies across the country are recognizing the unique criminal profile of female juvenile offenders. In response, there has been a widespread movement by each state and even certain localities to formulate Gender-Specific Assessment and Programming Guidelines. The programming formulated for female delinquents is essentially rehabilitative, aiming to undo the trauma of abusive, neglectful, or disadvantaged childhoods.
