The paper begins with a brief analysis of causes, objectives, and results of all the Middle Ages Crusades. This is followed by a detailed exploration of the Seventh Crusade that originated from France through King Louis IX. The final section presents an examination of the Eighth Crusade initiated by King Louis, sixteen years after the failure of the Seventh Crusade.
