The directive leadership idea is interesting and well presented here, especially since it can affect these teens' behaviors. The fact that the author comments on social change, such as the fact that society must "address the need for a better quality of life for the juvenile delinquent" is vital as well, because it is only thorough these means that we can effectuate societal transformations.

Response

This essay is well written in its address of the type of behavior needed to accomplish a result. Differences in learning, as the author states, must be addressed so that a project continues to accomplish its goals. Furthermore, they must be addressed to keep a community cohesive and provide for flexibility...

The question I would like to pose to the author here would be, how could we implement the same policies that the creative Learning Centers have to the other learning centers so that they will benefit from the same kinds of activities (school and field trips and such)? Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post #1 Your post illustrates the extent to which effective leadership is an essential component of most change-based initiatives. Regardless of the nature of the changes at issue, achieving meaningful objectives in relation to necessary or desired changes is largely dependent on the effectiveness and commitment of leaders. Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post #1 I would agree completely with you that personal awareness is a crucial factor in relation to the ability of therapists and counselors to provide high-quality professional services. It is obvious that all of us are substantially the products of our external environments and experiences in life. As a result, by the time we enter the professional field, we unavoidably bring with us a personal perspective

Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post # I agree completely with your post. All of us have a natural tendency toward loss of objective perspective and we tend to view the world through the prism of our own lives and in a manner framed by our personal experiences and standards of living. I admit to having caught myself many times worrying too much about things that, in reality, are extremely minor compared

Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post # While I agree with all of your concerns, I would argue that education about racism in school is the most singularly deficient of the three issues you raised. That is simply because the only philosophy currently driving the response to racism is based on the notion that racial identity is meaningful in the positive sense. In my opinion, it is not possible to eliminate racism

Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post # I agree with you completely that racism is one of the most significant social problems in contemporary society at every level from local communities to the international global community. As your post illustrates, racism occurs both overtly such as in the case of explicit acts of prejudice and discrimination, as well as covertly, such as within institutionalized settings. Combating racism requires addressing the most obvious

Sociology Discussion Responses Response to Post #1 I agree completely with almost everything in your post about the importance of preventing and responding to instances of domestic violence. However, I think it might be s slight exaggeration to characterize domestic violence as the single greatest societal challenge facing our society. That is not to suggest that it is not crucial, only that various other problems may be equal to or even greater
