Creating awareness has over the years been the most effective way of teaching people the emerging trends of the universe. These trends are inclusive of health issues; increasing rates of pandemics and other health-related risks. It has been effectuated in order to counter and reduce the increasing rate of disease, and to provide the necessary information that can be used to prevent and treat such issues. Such issues have led to the introduction and assignment of educating roles in organizations at grass root levels. Such is my organization that has conducted awareness internally to the workforce and to the community.

Topic and scenario discussion

Congestive heart failure has joined the list of diseases that have immensely affected citizens, not only across the United States, but also globally. It is a chronic condition of the inability of heart functionality to deliver blood to other necessitated parts of the body. It has been conjoined to conditions of hypertension, arteriosclerosis, cardiac arrests, myocarditis, toxins, endocarditis and cardiomyopathy (Quinn, 2006, pg 4).

Similarly, there is a commonality in the development of the disease among Americans. The main causes outlined to the people are self-inflicted. In relation to living habits, people are increasingly allied to obesity, which is a great contributor to heart failure. Fat deposits around the heart emerging from unhealthy foods settle on the heart area, and are attributed to breathing as well as blood pumping problems to other essential parts of the body. Living wrong by indulging in less fitness exercises is also a closely related cause to CHF and enhances the earlier stated cause. The affliction has been attributed to other non-inflicted issues such as aging.
Preventive measures addressed to people greatly depend on their efforts. Most of these methods are described as non-pharmacologic preventive methods (Baliga et al., 2008, pg 57). Patient awareness is the most vital method that keeps people informed of methods of avoiding and preventing CHF. In regards to lifestyle, it is proposed that people undertake fitness exercises and avoid bad eating habits.
