Admissions Representatives I Am Writing In Order Essay

¶ … Admissions Representatives

I am writing in order to request admission to your undergraduate institution for the upcoming term. Despite my current status as a sophomore at another institution, I have continuously admired the academic standing and community values that your school embodies, which is why I have made the decision to request transfer applicant acceptance.

During the past two years at my current undergraduate institution, I have made the effort to become involved in campus activities and uphold my academic standing, which I believe I have done to the best of my ability. However, despite spending two years at my current school, I have never truly developed the personal connection to my college that I have long dreamt of having. Because of this, I have realized that my time at my current institution is nearing an end, and it is time for me to move on to bigger and better things.

I have long admired the academic and community standing that your school embodies. I have had the opportunity to visit the campus and observe several members of the faculty and student body, which did nothing but fuel my desire to finish my undergraduate education at your institution. I have been able to get a sense of the faculty-student dynamics that exist within your campus, I have been able to view some of the outstanding facilities your school has to offer, and I have been able to get a general sense of what is academically and socially expected of me should I receive admittance. I am confident that if given the chance, I can join the campus community that your college has to offer in way that ensures that I leave my mark on the school's legacy far beyond my graduation.

I have met with members of your school, I have admired members of your school, and I assert that if given the opportunity to begin enrollment next year as a transfer student, I will most certainly accept an invitation to become a matriculating member and eventual graduate of your school.

Thank you for your consideration. Should you have any questions as to my current student status or reasons for transferring, please do not hesitate to contact me at your earliest convenience.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope to be given the opportunity to become a member of your campus community in the near future.

Sincerely,
