This supplies a much-needed break from ones stressors, as well as aiding in putting things into perception. The importance yoga places on being in the moment can also aid to relieve stress, as one learns not to dwell on past events or expect the future. One will leave a yoga class feeling less stressed than when they began. Doing yoga gives a person an increased consciousness of their own body. A person is frequently called upon to make little, delicate movements in order to advance their alignment. Over time, this increases their rank of comfort in their own body. This can lead to enhanced posture and superior self-confidence (Pizer). These huge physical benefits are just a by-product of this commanding practice. What yoga does is synchronize the mind with the body which consequences in real quantum benefits. It is now known that the will of the mind has facilitated people to accomplish astonishing physical feats, which prove beyond doubt the mind and body association. Yoga by way of meditation works extraordinarily to attain this accord and helps the mind work in sync with the body. How frequently does a person find that they are not capable of performing their activities correctly and in a fulfilling way because of the confusions and conflicts in their mind that weigh heavily upon them? Having seen this, it is important to note why the ancient yogis performed yoga and the interdependence of yoga and meditation. But what is interesting is that for this they had to contemplate for long periods of time. This compulsory incredible physical fitness, energy and the competence to survive on next to nothing. Yoga positions or asanas supplied them the fullest strength with the smallest amount of metabolism or stress and meditation in turn supplied them the power and will to execute these asanas efficiently. As yoga becomes more accepted in the West, medical researchers have started looking at the benefits of therapeutic yoga. This is also called integrative yoga therapy or IYT. It's utilized as an extra treatment for precise medical conditions, from clinical depression to heart disease. Yoga benefits other chronic medical conditions, getting rid of indications of asthma, back pain, and arthritis.
