Pain Management In Pediatric Patient Term Paper

The better the pain management is in any case, regardless of age, the more likely a patient is to recover fully and in comfort and not feel afraid when injury or illness occur. From a clinical nursing perspective this is essential to the development of a more holistic level of treatment. Future research should attempt to analyze real time occurrence of treatment as a way to adapt pain assessment tools to younger children and also improve the qualitative and quantitative data on this issue. Combining these two methods is one effective strategy in mitigating pain in children (Cohen).
