¶ … Project Schedule Dependencies and Constraints

The first step of the project was feasibility analysis of the idea opening a dog day care. In this step the market research was completed and in parallel questionnaires was sent out to understand the expectations of customers. One of the biggest challenges of the project is the financial constraints. Market research and the questionnaires provided a tentative budget expectation; however, the bank loans and tax related concern slowed down the project. After having a solid idea about the budget the possible locations and size of the project could be determined. The prospective owner profiles and dog breeds are identified in regards to the location. Although it was planned to have door to door service it is feasible to serve for the customers who would deliver their dogs while they get chance to see facilities. Knowing the prospective customer profile it was easy to decide on the professional webpage tools. There was three main factors considered while the pilot webpage designed; usability, functionality and aesthetics. After the loan is granted, the dog day care facility would be rented. Before the opening of day care the key personnel would be recruited to buy equipment. This step can be overlapping with web development in the temporal domain. The broadcasting and advertisements would be started over free internet channels such as twitter, facebook and myspace. Meanwhile the insurance operations can be completed. Finally, the dog day care would be ready for grant opening. After the pilot opening, additional financial sources can be searched in the community and outside of the community.

Project Management Plan of a New Restaurant This project management plan is majorly concerned primarily with the first two steps which are defining the project; the project objective is broken down into a series of manageable steps called tasks and designing the project process; this work is performed by the project manager and is presented in the GANTT chart where the tasks are displayed in more detail (Hamilton, 2004). (Braunschweig; Day, 150) Most of the current generation of project managers expects the project management tools to furnish them with almost real-time knowledge in order to facilitate their decision-making. Some of these tools like DOFF, "Field of the Future," "Smart Fields," Microsoft's "Oilfield Connectivity" and i-Fields are currently being examined by exploration and production oil companies. Some of these tools have the capability of generating information from apparently incongruent data

Project Management In order to define project management, one must first define what is a project. A project is a temporary activity performed by a group in order to develop a unique service, product, or result. A project is labeled a temporary activity because it has a defined start and end in time. Therefore, a project has a defined scope and resources. This means that a project can only be carried

Project Management Concepts Question 1; the Triple Constraint The term triple constraint refers to three interdependent factors which will act as constraints on the way projects are completed. The triple constraints, which may also be called the 'project triangle', will be found in all projects, they are the factors of time, cost, and scope. Successful projects are usually defined as those which are delivered at the right time, within the correct budget,

Project Management-7 What is the difference between a task dependency and a task constraint? The difference between a task dependency and a task constraint is apparent in the time. A task dependency connects two tasks by suggesting that one task will start comparative to another task, whereas a task constraint places the connection directly to a time rather than base it off the time when another task begins (Marmel and Muir, 2007).
