¶ … age should the law regard an individual as an adult with regard to access to abortion? The topic of abortion is special and often sparks heated discussion because, at the heart of the issue, lies the death of life in one form or another. While it does not seem fair to simply erase a mistake of this proportion, this practice is celebrated and well funded where it is accepted. Complicating the situation, and causing moral dilemmas, is allowing abortion in saving the pregnant mother from death. Adler, Ozer & Tschann (2003) pointed out that in many countries, abortion is illegal and America is in the minority of countries of where it is permitted. This legal distinction between ages, while beneficial in some cases, argues against the case for younger mothers from aborting their children by unjustly creating different moral applications for different members of the same environment. The issue of parental…

At what age should the law regard an individual as an adult with regard to the death penalty?

Steinberg, Cauffman, Woolard, Graham & Banich (2009) confused the argument of when to apply age-applicable law. Their statistical data does not add any significant weight in applying morals as to how old one must be to receive a government sponsored death. Psychological arguments aside, killing each other, no matter for what or done by whom, seems to be an unenlightened, unevloved position of experiencing life.

In reading Segal & Spaeth's (1996) accounts of stare decisis, I began to notice the similarities in religious dogma and judicial law. Killing people just because it was done in the past, and while it may have seemed justified, should not be the encouragement society calls upon for peace and truth. The age should not matter in the death penalty because the life of one subjected to death by the government is tragic and wasteful of the potential energy forgiveness and goodwill has to offer.

Age of Traffic Speeders General Problem Area This research proposal is designed to find out the relationship between speeding in a motor vehicle, and the age of the speeder. There are many variables that make up the sum total of a traffic accident, and one of those is whether or not any or all of the vehicles were speeding at the time the accident occurred (Vinluan, 2008). The proposal here will not

Law Enforcement and Hiring Laws Types of Policing Community policing primarily consists of law enforcement through police patrol and presence. Problem oriented policing is very similar to community policing, except that instead of merely patrols actions are directed to address a specific problem. A problem oriented policing response is exemplified by increased patrols at problem traffic intersections or enforcement of pedestrian crossing from speeding traffic. Problem oriented policing is noted to have
