Praxidike Systems is in need of major process reengineering efforts in two major areas of their company. These are programming competence as it relates to the scope and complexity of projects, and secondly, with communication methods with clients to better define the specific requirements of projects. Thirdly also related to communication with clients is the need to be more forthcoming and more responsive about minimizing defects in projects in the first place, and when they occur, quickly resolving these problems.

In the first analysis of programming competence relative to complexity of projects completed, the variable of number of lines of code was a contributing factor to the definition of competence. However the strongest statistical results of the Kruskal-Wallis test specifically and ANOVA analysis overall that there is a significant statistical relationship between the competency level of programmers as it relates to the company's ability to complete complex products. In short, the ANOVA shows that the most competent programmers are consistently tackling the most complex projects and getting them done ahead of schedule. Programming competence however was not a significant statistical predictor of a project being late; rather the scope definition and the ability of programmers to grasp the nuances of these larger projects matter most. The division of programming talent by complexity of project is axiomatic from the analysis; yet in delving deeper into the statistical results it's clear that the experience level of programmers in addition to their competence is a clear delineator of complex project success.

In terms of test of statistical significance of the communication factors analyzed, customers see Praxidike Systems as being responsive, in aggregate, at a 3.0 level of a 4.0 scale. This is comparable to a "B" average for customer responsiveness. Yet the company gets low marks for the ability to deliver projects on time consistently in addition to acknowledging and responding to defects. What is needed in these areas is a simplified series of processes for reporting, analyzing, and fixing defects quickly. The focus needs to be on turning this weakness into a strength for Praxidike Systems to grow.
