Nursing educators normally combine their clinical expertise and the passion they have for teaching into a career that is rich and rewarding. They work in the classroom as well as the practice setting, they have the responsibility of preparing, and acting as mentors to the current and future nurse's generations. They teach in various patient care settings in order to provide continuing education to those likened nursing staff. They play a vital role when it comes to strengthening the nursing workforce as they act as role models at the same time providing the leadership that is needed for the implementation of evidence-based practice. They are responsible for designing, implementation, evaluation and revising of academic and continuing education programs that are being used by nurses.
