What makes human thinking unique?
Human thinking differs from that of all other species on the planet because we can plan ahead, create totally new ideas, and reflect deeply on the past. Moreover, only human beings can think critically about the world. Animals simply react to what they sense around them, based more on their instincts than on actual thought processes.
What items impact or affect your thinking ability?
All sensory data impacts thinking ability; we tend to believe what our senses tell us. However, other people also have a profound influence on the way we think. We can be easily swayed by others or by what we read or hear about in the media. Thinking ability can also be impacted by such things as sickness, sleeplessness, hunger, or trauma.
4. What contents of the letter make you suspicious that it is a sham?
The first red flag is the simple fact that having the same last name as someone would not qualify as enlisting them as a proxy next of kin. The second is that the writer of the letter asks to split the proceeds from the estate. Finally, the entire request is farfetched, especially given the high dollar value in question.

The writer of the letter prays mainly on peoples' hopes for a windfall of money, especially as it requires little or not effort.

No, but many people fall for the stories given by panhandlers, who come up with incredible stories about their cars breaking down and needing a few bucks for a taxi or even just a quarter for a phone call. If they panhandle for hours, they can make a decent amount of cash. Often panhandlers are dressed nicely and act so well that people willingly fall for the act.
