Include the parents in the planning of the curriculum of the children
Develop curriculum that ensure the students participate in community-based programs like planting of tree, giving to the poor and charity events
The director can involve the leaders of the community in the curriculum of the school that will make the community feel part of the program.
The example below shows a live account of how the community and an early education center collaborated and my advice to the director.
My first piece of advice to the director would be to use the local schools. The director in my view would be a director for early childhood education. The director alongside the local schools wrote a grant to the VHECEC for funding of their program. The program got the majority of the VHECEC funding. This activity enabled the education center to interact and be included in the school district. The program help to reduce the gaps that existed in the education of students like the number of under privileged children that got access to quality education and expansion of talents rather than simple education. The school district raised areas in education where improvement was required and the early education center addresses those issues thus preventing occurrence. The program also improved transition from early education systems to primary school education thus improving achievements by students.
