Amended Project Charter To define and execute a project plan for the customization, testing, validation and successful launch of a cloud-based CRM system organization wide, providing each member of the sales team with immediate, 24/7 access to all relevant customer information. To design and quickly implement a lead generation and escalation strategy using the cloud-based CRM applications'; functionality and features to ensure sales leads are delivered to sales reps immediately after they are captured.

To provide sales managers with the ability to see sales funnel performance across all sales reps, regions and sales channels on a 24/7 basis using any mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop device connected to the Internet. Project Success Criterion In defining a cloud-based CRM application for our company, the project success criterion is first based on the high priority of keeping our sales force agile and responsive to corporate clients purchasing our build-to-order systems and tablets.

The second priority is ensuring all customized system and tablet orders are correctly entered into production. This will require the CRM system to be integrated into the production planning and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that run our production centers. It is increasingly a core requirement to have CRM systems integrated to production and ERP systems to further ensure accuracy and clarity of order capture and fulfillment (Limbasan, Rusu, 2011).

The third priority is the development of a scalable, secure CRM cloud application that can eventually become a platform for unifying all channel selling efforts in both direct and indirect channels. The reliance on cloud computing to enable greater levels of channel orchestration is evident in how retail, services and complex manufacturers are adopting cloud-based CRM systems (Banerjea, 2011). The fourth priority is that the system be able to expand with enhancements and follow-on software to further ensure its value over time.

The architectural approaches to cloud technologies today allow for rapid scalability and the addition of new applications securely across global application instances (Tian, 2011). To summarize, the following are the success criterion for this project: 1. Ensuring sales force agility and responsiveness to corporate clients interested in build-to-order systems and tablets. 2. Enabling perfect accuracy of customized system and tablet orders into production. 3. The development of a scalable, secure CRM cloud platform for unifying all channel selling efforts. 4.

Developing a cloud-based CRM system that allows for rapid, secure user adoption Project Schedule Most successful CRM cloud implementations take up to 90 days to completely integrate into large-scale organizations (Banerjea, 2011). The proposed schedule for this project is shown below: Project Phase Description Date Due Date of Authorization This is the date the final project is signed off and approved for funding.
