Current Events Current Even 1: Ohio School Shooting

On February 27th, 2012, a school shooting occurred in the state of Ohio. Tragically, three people were killed in the incident and another three students were injured. It is unclear how much counseling Lane had following his father's arrest and incarceration or how much of the domestic abuse he was witness or victim of. Had social workers been more involved in the situation from the beginning, then perhaps this tragedy could have been avoided.
