At the level of the individual, the reading of the article confirmed the complexity of the ethics and morals within the business community. Still, aside from this, it also indicated that the organizational entities are primarily focused on their profitability objectives, and they will strive to attain these goals at the expense of either suppliers, either suppliers and employees. Before reading the article, ethics and morality were perceived as something innate, or learned from the home. Still, the article opens a new window in the understanding of the topic and presents it as something clearer; as a topic that can be addressed in depth and analyzed through more critical lenses.
In this order of ideas, future research would be conducted in order to understand the forces which drive economic agents to operate in a moral or immoral manner. It would be interesting to assess the factors that carry the most weight in ethical and non-ethical decision making, such as the possibility for gains vs. The sense of duty.
