ETHICS REVIEW
Response to Ethics Vignette
From time to time, we as members of the arms profession find ourselves in difficult ethical dilemmas. When confronted with scenarios of this nature, we should engage in deliberate assessment of available options by relying upon some frameworks that have been developed in the past for this very purpose. As the Operations Officer for a Joint Task Force, I will be deploying the 2RP tool in efforts to resolve and/or address the concern of an enemy involved in the deliberate violation of armed conflict laws. On this front, and consistent with the 2RP tool, I will be highlighting (and seeking to apply) the provisions of each of the three items, i.e. Rules, Results and People.
It is clear that in this case, the enemy has elected to dishonor clear armed conflict laws by not only parking military aircraft next to precious places, but also installing antiaircraft weapons in the vicinity of healthcare centers. Voluntary movement of families accompanied by children to critical military installations has also been observed. Without doubt, these actions endanger the lives and wellbeing of noncombatants specifically the most vulnerable in the society (including, but not limited to; sick persons in hospital, women and children, the frail and elderly, etc.).
The first item in the 2RP tool happens to be Rules. The key query that we ought to float on this front is whether the course of action embraced is okay from a rules-based perspective. We...

All these efforts would be captured by the mass media. It would also be prudent to make it clear to the whole world that any decision on our part to target the enemy aircraft, their antiaircraft missiles or critical/key military installations under the present prevailing circumstances would be on a last-resort basis. In the final analysis, it should be noted that although targeting the enemys aircraft, antiaircraft missiles or critical/key military installations has legal backing, in so doing, effort should be made to minimize noncombatant casualty, while at the same time keeping…

Ethics and morals are closely related, but ethics is the term more commonly used in the professional realm, whereas morals generally refer to guidelines for personal behavior. Both ethics and morals are reflections of beliefs and

Ethical Issues Surrounding Abortion Notwithstanding the laws being passed in various states against a woman's right to chose to terminate her pregnancy, the position of this paper is that Roe v. Wade is the law of the land and a woman has the ethical and moral right to decide to have an abortion. There are many positions for and against Roe v. Wade, and there are many ethical issues that may
The more experience a facilitator has with a minority group, the greater the likelihood the facilitator will be able to help those members feel included, rather than excluded from the group process. This is critical, because inclusion is an important social phenomenon. "Communities who are strong and inclusive lead to better quality of life, stronger sense of identity and belonging, sharing mutual respect and equality. It is further recognised
Ethical Issues Involved in Psychological Assessments It is important to note from the onset that those who seek the intervention of a psychologist either do so at their own behest or are sent by other people, i.e. attorneys, relatives, or employers. Over time, numerous challenges psychologists contend with in the course of conducting assessments have been identified and widely discussed.
