¶ … Discrimination: White Supremacy White people tend to take for granted daily advantages and privileges that their skin color provides them resulting in an attitude of racism. Consequently, black people constantly suffer from the resulting attitudes of white people. Therefore, there is need to safeguard backs from the attitude of racism by whites because of the ignorance of the available privileges and advantages. One of the major ways that have been suggested as the best possible means of dealing with this racism problem and white supremacy is affirmative action.

Various arguments have been developed regarding the ability and inability of affirmative action to deal with the extreme discrimination from whites. The use of affirmative action policies can be traced back to 1960s when they were adopted for the purpose of ensuring that there are equal opportunities for minorities and disadvantaged people in the workplace. These policies are deemed as necessary in tacking white supremacy since they have not fully accomplished the original intention of ending discrimination.

In addition, the policies seek to extend equal opportunities for all people by lack of procedures for punishing anyone. Based on the policies, institutions were required to establish plans that enable them to go the extra mile in finding competent people in new places. This is because these regulations were centered on failure to coerce individuals into positions they were unqualified for. As a result, it would enhance the institution's ability to develop practical procedures that help in identifying a diverse mix of competent people in the workplace.

It's argued that affirmative action is the best course of action in ending white supremacy because of the great achievements it has made in the provision of equal opportunities to all and the use of a wide range of skills available in the entire population. These policies are necessary for fighting extreme discrimination since it engages both whites and blacks in the actual points where they differ significantly. Some of these major areas where the issue unites both races are workplaces, school settings, and social gathering areas sporting events.

On the contrary, the ability of these policies to fight extreme discrimination and white supremacy have been challenged by white males who argue that the result in reverse discrimination. In various cases, different groups have claimed that they are discrimination victims because of affirmative action resulting in societal divisiveness. With the ongoing development and adoption of affirmative action policies across the country, skirmishes and tensions between various groups are continuing to grow.

Furthermore, opponents of these policies claim that the significance of equal opportunities as envisioned in affirmative action have resulted in preferences for some people at the expense of others instead of the same opportunities for everyone. Notably, affirmative action policies have failed to accomplish their main objective but rather resulted in more rifts and dilemmas especially in areas where they are coercive. Recently, these policies have shifted from.
